The Boren Forum is an independent and all-volunteer body. Since its incorporation in 2003, the Boren Forum has emerged as an important partner of the National Security Education Program and plays an important role in connecting NSEP alumni with U.S. Government agencies. In order to better fulfill this mission critical role, the Boren Forum relies on friends and members for financial support.
Through members’ financial support, the Boren Forum is able to organize major events where NSEP alumni learn the merits of public service and are connected directly with recruiters and representatives from federal agencies. Additionally, members’ financial support enables the Boren Forum to maintain an Internet presence through which experienced Federal employees may connect with and mentor NSEP alumni aspiring to government service. Such connections are particularly important for young alumni seeking security clearance and learning to navigate the federal job application process.
