I understand that I am solely responsible for my interactions with those who are participating in the Georgetown Boren Foreign Language Exchange program (“GBFLEx” and such participants in GBFLEx, the “participants”). I understand that I am not an employee or independent contractor of The Boren Forum Inc. (the “Boren Forum”) and that no agency or other relationship exists between me and the Boren Forum that would make the Boren Forum responsible for my conduct.
The Boren Forum makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of any of the participants. I understand that the Boren Forum does not in any way screen the participants, nor does it inquire into the backgrounds of the participants or attempt to verify the statements of the participants. I understand that the participants are neither employees nor independent contractors of the Boren Forum and that the Boren Forum is not responsible for their conduct.
Under no circumstances will the Boren Forum or any of its affiliates be responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury or death, resulting from your participation in GBFLEx. In no event shall the Boren Forum or any of its affiliates be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to my conduct or the conduct of any other participant, including without limitation, bodily injury, emotional distress and/or any other damages resulting from my communications or meetings with the participants or other persons I meet through GBFLEx.
Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, I understand that in no event will the Boren Forum or any of its affiliates be liable to me or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages (including also lost profits) arising from my participation in GBFLEx, even if the Boren Forum has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
I agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with the participants or such other persons. In addition, I agree to review the Boren Forum’s Safety Tips prior to participating in GBFLEx. The website and GBFLEx are provided “AS-IS” and the Boren Forum expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The Boren Forum cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of this website and/or GBFLEx.
